Innovation

Cuvirac is an innovative nanomaterial based on several characteristics which make it different from others:

Nanostructurated material, composes with small copper nanoparticles, allowing high efficiency (determined by TEM and SEM microscopy)

Composed by unique copper species with a single oxidation state, which allows obtaining a high biological activity, not observed so far with other compounds (determined by X-ray analysis).

Biocompatible: a biomolecule is another component of CuVirac which has an important key role.

This nanomaterial is also extremely stable: it retains its stability even at very high temperatures (> 80ºC), which ensures its use at temperatures of up to 50-60ºC with extreme reliability and also in the presence of different adidtives.

CuVirac is stable more than 1 year store at room temperature.

Cuvirac has been demonstrated to be able to block Spike protein of Sars-Cov2  to ACE2 receptor and inhibiting 3CLPro enzyme from RNA proteins at nanomolar concentrations [1-4] and it has been demonstrated to fast eliminate SarsCov2, E229 Coronavirus, Rhinovirus H14, bacteriophages and other bacteria.
